The question: how are setup commands generated?
The target is a frozen snapshot of the earlier Chinese rea.best preview, not the current bilingual release. We used REA to statically inspect app.js, locate guide() and codeBox(), and check how the HTML loads the script.
1. Get the same input
Download and extract the case package. The case-source directory preserves the original input independently of website updates. The package includes the workaround and verification scripts.
2. Run the static analysis
npx -y rea-agents@6.5.0 analyze-javascript-application ./case-source --json > result.jsonRun this from the extracted directory. If you hit the exact SwiftBridging duplicate-module error recorded here, follow the project-local workaround. Do not assume every environment needs it. See the Swift troubleshooting steps →
3. Check the evidence, not just the explanation
- One JavaScript file parsed; 571 AST nodes visited; zero parse failures.
- guide() builds commands for the selected environment; codeBox() creates the command display and copy control.
- Resolved call relationships include two calls to guide() and four to codeBox().
- The HTML-to-app.js loading relationship was checked in the output.
4. What to compare when reproducing
Compare the input snapshot digest, parse-failure count, function definitions and call relationships. The delivered script was reproduced in a separate local directory; the reproduction field in the evidence summary lists the checks.
A separate CSV example parsed two JavaScript files and 83 AST nodes with no parse failures. Inspect the CSV result →
What this result does — and does not — establish
It establishes that the recorded environment completed static analysis of this JavaScript snapshot. The target was parsed as inert text, not executed. Static relationships do not prove runtime behavior or validate all operating systems, native binaries or obfuscated applications.
Use this as a first investigation, not a promise that any application can be rebuilt in one step.
